Slot canyons |
An inspiring piece of photography taken in the slot canyons. These fantastic colours are produced by the sun passing over the top of these narrow canyons. You do not actually see these colours on the sandstone. Years of experience have led me to these final images.
There are many slot canyons in Arizona and Utah, Upper and Lower antelope Canyon, Kabeto, Butterfly, Paria, Grey Stone, The Subway Waterholes, Thin Lizy to name but a few.
Long exposures from 6 seconds to 45 minutes produce the best results. |
